On 15/8/2012, lease agreements were signed with CPI Byty, a.s. The Prague 18 district now manages all the land that is within the scope of the Letňany lentils project. The lease is agreed for a period of 20 years for a symbolic CZK 1 / year. In the following years, the land will be gradually transferred to the ownership of the municipality at minimal cost. The transfer process is complicated mainly due to the many easements that result from the complex underground infrastructure in the housing estate.

During the holidays, scaffolding appeared at a number of prefabricated houses in the former AVIA housing estate. “The houses in the whole Kuželova street will be completely new, Ivančická and Krausova will be completed soon, other insulated entrances will be added in Fryčovická, Malkovského, Nýdecká and other Letňany streets,” assumes Jan Mikulecký, Letňany representative. In the coming months, almost 20 newly renovated entrances should be added. It is mostly thermal insulation, but in some entrances the residents will also have a new elevator. On 28 November 2012, the Prague 18 City Council approved the submission of an application for subsidies for the Letňanská lentilka project. Subsequently, the application was submitted under the call of the Operational Program Prague Competitiveness, Support Area 2.1. The results of the call will be known in the 2nd quarter of 2013.
Dear representatives of SVJ, during the last three years, the Letňany housing estate has changed significantly. Many houses have been dressed in new facades, have new elevators and new windows save energy. None of this would have been possible without your efforts – home renovation is a laborious and complex job and in many ways invaluable. Thanks to you, however, Letňany is more attractive and modern every year.
In February 2012, a seminar on the revitalization of prefabricated houses took place. Experienced members of SVJ committees acquainted their colleagues with the already completed reconstructions of houses. Jan Mikulecký, Councilor for Regeneration of the Housing Estate, confirmed that the renovation of houses in the housing estate has great support from the town hall, especially in the context of the Letňanská lentilka project.
