The perennial flower beds, which were created at the Malkovského and Místecká houses as part of the Letňanská lentilka project, look beautiful after a year. “Every week they change color, the individual flowers gradually show up and passers-by often stop to sniff at those beautiful flowers. The perennials have completely transformed the old settlement and flooded it with colors. says councilor and deputy Jan Mikulecký with some satisfaction.
Perennial beds require proper care, so several times a year the beds are cleaned of garbage and the grown flowers are removed. “Some residents would like more consideration and upbringing for this beautiful part of Lentilek,” says Jan Mikulecký from personal experience. However, we are all learning, so we can only hope that there will be a gradual decrease in those for whom it is easier to throw a plastic bottle in the flowerbed than in the yellow trash can.
